INSTALLATIONS AROUND THE WORLD
(Milan, Ljubljana, Sankt Gallen, Madrid, St. Petersburg)

The project began in 2012 as a collection of art-related Internet memes (Contemporary Art People: y u no have irony?, available on Facebook and Pinterest) and made its first appearance in a physical space in Milan the following year in the form of a giant wall covered with found images (Nothing To See Here, Swiss Institute, Milan, Italy, June 2013).

A second installation of the wall appeared in Lubljana, Slovenjia, from September 2nd to September 26th 2014. In that occasion, the project reached a whole new stage, both online, through this Tumblr blog, and in the exhibition space, at Škuc Gallery. The memes are now carefully tagged and organized in thematic clusters.
This installation is part of the art show “Eternal September”, a group exhibition that aims to explore the relationship between professional art making and the rising tide of amateur cultural movements throughout the Web.

The project has been installed for the third time in Sankt Gallen (Switzerland) in the context of the exhibition “The Darknet – From Memes to Onionland. An Exploration” at the Kunst Halle (18th October 2014 – 11th January 2015).

The Wall also went on view in Madrid in 2017 in the context of the group show “Upload / Download. Photography and The Internet”, curated by Daniel Mayrit and Laura Tabarés for PHotoEspaña 2017 (06.23.2017 — 09.04.2017).

The most recent installation of the wall took place in St. Petersburg (Russia) at the Hermitage Museum in the context of the project “Here I Live” (MediaCongress 2018), curated by Daniel Mayrit.
